YSI Speak Out
On Tuesday 28th March, our Young Social Innovator team attended the Regional Speak Out Awards in the Hudson Bay Hotel, Athlone.
The Young Social Innovator programme was introduced to the school as a Transition Year module for the first time this year and has been a great success for all the students involved.
The aim of our YSI project was to raise much needed funding for the Monasterevin Youth Action group to renovate our local Youth Café.
Our goal was to help create a safe and supervised place for local young people to socialise in.
