St Paul’s Syrian students visit Kilkenny Castle

On Wednesday 25th January, our Syrian students visited Kilkenny Castle. They were accompanied on this trip by Ms. Comerford and a group of students from Maynooth Post-Primary with their teacher, Ms. English.

After our tour, we explored the streets of the city. Our Syrian students thoroughly enjoyed this as Kilkenny is a place full of Irish history and culture, being the oldest medieval city in all of Ireland.
This trip was a great opportunity for our Syrian students to link in with our friends from Maynooth. The students from Maynooth Post-Primary who accompanied us to Kilkenny were all Arabic and English speakers, some of whom are Syrian as well.
