St. Paul’s Students Make Great Strides at South Leinster Track and Field
Five athletes from St. Paul’s travelled to Carlow IT for day two of the South Leinster Track and Field. Luke Gill, running his first ever 3k finished an impressive 9th. Kornel Ziarek and Aaron Doyle finished 1st and 2nd in their respective 200m heats. Both students finished just outside the medals in their finals.
Kate Connolly ran a 3 second personal best in her 800m. Finally, after a long day of waiting, Max Tracey won his mile race in a new meet record of 4 minutes and 33 seconds. Well done to all of the students who competed in what was a very successful year of track and field for St. Paul’s.
