National Attendance Campaign

The Department of Education has launched a new nationwide campaign promoting school attendance following a significant increase in unexplained school absences in recent years. Unexplained school absences have skyrocketed, raising concerns about students missing out on crucial parts of their education. We at St Paul’s are running “A Drive for Five” next week where we encourage all students to be present for the full 5 days of the week with lots of rewards for the classes that can achieve it! 

“Missing just 1 school day a week works out at 20% of the school year missed”

There will be lots going on in the school with regard to attendance and punctuality over the next week so keep an eye out on the website and your childs school journal for more information and support.
