Junior Leinster Rugby Girls Champs!

Our Junior Girls Rugby team overcame a strong Presentation Wexford side in the Junior Leinster Plate final on Wednesday 19th April in Tullow RFC. Our girls have been working and training hard since January for this win and it is truly well deserved. With a final score of 38-0 it is a credit to the hard work and team effort put in by the girls. Our supporters were there loud and proud to cheer on the girls and kept them highly motivated throughout the match! 

It is a huge achievement as a new sport in the school. Everyone played their hearts out and had a tremendous game but a special mention to our player of the match Nicole Walsh. Nicole played a fantastic game from start to finish and showed true leadership skills on the pitch as our vice captain. 

We know there is more fantastic things to come for these group of ladies and we can’t wait to see them on the pitch again in the near future!
