Junior Ladies Blitz

Our Junior Ladies participated in a blitz held by Ard Scoil Rath Iomgháin on Tuesday 25th of October. It was a cold wet start but the team were in great spirits. It was a chance for our team to have a bit of fun playing football together and get used to each other on the pitch in an informal way. The girls took on a strong Rathangan team first and narrowly missed out on the win after a fantastic match. They won the second match against a second Rathangan team and were really flying now with some great performances. They really put it up to the Kildare team in the last match but the eventual winners proved too strong. They girls really showed the class that they have and how well they can play that day and are excited to get back on the pitch as soon as possible! Many thanks to Rathangan GFC for hosting.
