European Day of Languages

The European day of languages (26th September) was celebrated in St. Pauls this year on the 29th of September.
We began with a breakfast for all students provided by the wonderful Sister Angela at breakfast club; croissants and baguettes galore! Prior to the day posters displaying European country’s flags and basic greetings/phrases were hung on every classroom door and around the school for all students to observe. All 1st years were brought to the assembly hall for a quiz on European Capital Cities and European Food with Ms. Hogan and Ms. Barrett.
Great fun was had by all. The Two winning groups received an EDL pack on Wednesday the 14th of October with lots of EDL goodies.
A huge well done to the winning students: Conal McGann, James Noblett, Chloe Connelly, Amy Lacey, Denis Collins, Pádraig Foley, Shannon Dunne-Brown, Chloe McQuillan
