Biology @ NUI Maynooth

The Science department in Maynooth provides a day for Leaving Certificate Biology students, which is an excellent day of revision and a glimpse into the world of studying science at 3rd level.

The day began with a safety talk and an introduction to the team of science graduates who will act as teachers for the day. The six most complex practicals are covered on the day with the students spending 40 minutes on each practical. A booklet is provided with questions to be discussed and filled in during each practical. The day was a busy one with a lot of valuable information which was appreciated by all the students.
