99k for Canine Challenge

TY Young Social Innovators

Our TY Young Social Innovators are running a 99k for Canine Challenge for the month of November. This is a fundraiser for the Irish Guide Dog Association. Our students and staff are walking and/or running throughout the month and recording their progress to 99k. Each student and staff member that signs up will receive a sponsorship card in order to raise money for the IGDA.

This money will go towards helping those who require guide dogs or assistance dogs. The average cost to raise and train one guide dog is €50,000. We are trying to create awareness for our fundraiser by taking pictures of our dogs when out on walks. The Irish Guide Dogs Association will publish some of our pictures taken with our canine friends.
