Scolaireachtaí Gaeilge 2017
Tá an-áthas ar Bhord Bhainistíocht Naomh Pól agus Roinn na Gaeilge scolaireachtaí a thairiscint do bheirt scolairí ón cúigiú blain chun freastal ar Choláiste Gaeilge an samhradh seo chugainn. Cé nach bhfuil an choláiste nó suíomh socraithe go fóill do 2017, ba chóir go mbeadh na daltaí saor chun freastal ar feadh trí sheachtainí i ndeireadh mí an Mheitheamh agus Iúil.
Próiseas Iarratas agus Roghnú
- Iarrtar ar dhaltaí litir a scriobh i nGaeilge ag cén fáth go mbeadh said oiriúnach don scoláireacht.
- Más gá, déantar gearrliosta de na hiarrathóirí ag bráth ar an méid iarrataisí.
- Beidh Scrúdú Béíl ar nós Bhéaltriail na hArdteiste a reáchtáil do na n-iarrthóirí gearrliostaithe i rith na seachtaine ag tosú 1ú Bealtaine, 2017.
- Déanfar teangmháil leis na hiarrathóirí ar éirigh leo chomh luath agus is féidir.
Irish College Scholarships 2017
St Paul’s Board of Management and the Irish Department are delighted to offer part scholarships to two fifth year students to attend an Irish College this summer. While the exact college and location for 2017 are as yet undecided students should be free to attend for three weeks possibly in late June and July.
Application and Selection Process
- Students are requested to write a letter in Irish for the attention of Mr Ferry (Head of Irish) by Friday April 28th 2017 detailing why they would be suitable for the scholarship.
- Shortlisting of applicants may apply depending on the number of applications.
- An Oral Examination similar to the Leaving Certificate will be conducted of all shortlisted candidates during the week beginning May 1st
- The successful applicants will be notified as soon as possible as practical.
