The DEIS Retention Committee in St Paul’s plays a crucial role in promoting student
retention for the duration of our student’s educational experience. The committee
collects data based on the number of students who sit the state exams and using
this information, set targets to continually improve retention rates of all students.
We have a diverse range of measures in place to support students throughout their
time in St Pauls, some prime examples include JCSP, SCP, BFL, HSCL and LCA.
These measures are continually reviewed and developed in response to the
changing needs of our students.
Current members of the committee include Sinead Blake, Kate O’ Donovan, Elaine
Mahony, Nollaig Eogan, Bríde Ní Eimhín, Shane Cahill, Hannah Timmons, Kathryn
Mullins and Jen Coughlan.
